Every railway undertaking should have a ten year roadmap for the implementation of Automatic Train Operation (ATO). This is not an easy task and there are many challenges that have to be faced. • Jack Schneider (Head of International Standardisation ATO & CCS Onboard, Swiss Federal Railway - SBB AG) who will talk about 'The challenges of implementing Automatic Train Operation'. He will talk about these challenges and the TSI 2022 (Technical Specification for Interoperability) different European railway undertakings are working on.The TSI 2022 will make ATO over ETCS possible.
• Baseliyos Jacob (DB Cargo AG) who will discuss the topic: What are the experiences of DB Cargo with Automatic Train Operation so far?
