Using AI to make workplace learning & development more accessible

How can AI support workplace learning, informal learning and foster a stronger learning culture at work?

In this webinar three European speakers will share examples on workplace learning and how to foster a learning culture with the help of AI. We will explore how AI can promote learning with and from each other. We will look into this topic from different perspectives and across national contexts. Speakers from the Netherlands, Norway, and Ireland will share insights and practical examples from their own countries and professional settings.
Join the webinar if you want to learn more about the opportunities AI offers to make workplace learning more inclusive, personalised, effective and accessible.

Speakers
Ireland: Scott Wilson – Adult Educator
Working in rural Ireland as an adult educator, Scott will tell us more about how AI is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but it can help lower boundaries in learning. He will share practical examples and tell us more about personalised learning and basic skills and how AI should not function as the lead actor, but rather as support.

Norway: Djani Husomanovic – Advisor/National Coordinator for EPALE - AI ambassador Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills
Djani will share insights on how supportive AI tools, such as Copilot can boost workplace learning,
foster a learning culture, and support lifelong learning. Drawing on best practices from Norway, he will highlight how these tools, for instance for office-based jobs, can be used to strengthen collaboration across departments, while also pointing out common pitfalls.

Netherlands: Lysanne Scheijbeler – Hub Manager Technohub Inclusive Technology - Researcher Employability transitions
Lysanne will share insights from her work at TINT, the Technohub for Inclusive Technology. She will take us on a journey into how technology, and in this case AI, can support people to learn and
to develop. Lysanne will share practical examples of tools used in work placement company. For example, how can AI tailor work instructions on a tablet to meet individual learning needs? Or how can VR headsets create a safe space for people to practice job interviews?
